First look at Monomyth!
The second animation test, featuring a short interaction between Alexander and Anaethin. Yesterday, all of the voices by the co-writer/director and I were recorded. Today, throat lozenges are our friends.
The test was produced out of context for the sake of seeing a video clip make it entirely through the pre-, mid-, and post-production process. The final scene will be a bit different than this. For the sake of the test, the location and music are pre-existing BioWare/Dragon Age: Origins creations.

From the first animation test...
An old model of a slightly more clean-shaven Tomas in the first MONOMYTH full-production voice and animation test.
Currently on the agenda are a few final lesser/extra character models, locations, music, and in the immediate future: voice acting! Everything seems to be looking good :)

First Draft Complete!
Alternate post title: Insomnia Is Your Friend
After roughly three weeks of solid writing, the 125-page first draft screenplay for MONOMYTH: The Relic is complete. Readthroughs with the co-writer/director will take a large part of the next two or three weeks, with final revisions going into place on our end. Looking forward to seeing what the voice actors bring to the table. The plot is solid, but there's nothing fresher than a good ad-lib now and then.
Typing the final "E. N. D." in the middle of page 125, I couldn't help but hear this in my head:

Elthariel and Taiumor of the Nethara Eloras, the Elves of the Northern Wood.
One hundred and four pages of script, just entering into Act III. Act II closes with what will probably be my favorite scene in the entire film. Progress!
